Receive Scores and Recruit Students

Once you have established clear policies to recognize SAT in admissions, it will be important to clearly communicate those policies to prospective students, and to instruct them on how to submit official scores to your institution. Additionally, College Board can support your recruitment efforts by connecting you to our worldwide population of SAT test takers. 

When developing a policy, ensure the policy specifies requirements for both domestic and international students. We also recommend specifying your institution’s DI code. Although students can look up institutions by name, including a DI code reduces confusion between institutions with similar names or multiple campuses. Only official test scores sent from College Board can be trusted and verified, so we encourage you to emphasize this in your testing policy.
