Overview

Universities throughout the world are eager to host international undergraduate students because they add diversity to the student population and contribute to classroom conversations about a different area of the world. Because education systems and university admission requirements may vary by country, we recommend you take advantage of the College Board’s resources to help you in your search. Several leading universities outside the U.S. are included within College Search.

Can’t find the university you’re looking for? Email us at international@collegeboard.org, and we will invite that institution to be included within College Search.

College Board Programs Can Help You

College Board programs like the Advanced Placement Program (AP) and SAT are increasingly used by universities outside the U.S. Learn more in College Board Tools and Programs.

Sending AP and SAT scores

Colleges and universities worldwide recognize AP and SAT test scores. When sending your scores, be sure to use the official College Board Code of that institution. Find your university with Code Search. If the university to which you are applying is not listed, send an email to international@collegeboard.org. We will work directly with the institution to establish a College Board Code.

Other Resources

In addition to College Board programs and tools, there are many helpful resources regarding application processes for universities in specific regions. We also encourage you to contact university representatives directly for specific application information.
